What we process and why
Bookings and rentals: name, contact details, address, date of birth, ID and driving licence details, payment and deposit details. We need them to conclude and perform the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to meet legal obligations such as accounting (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Contact form and chat messages: name, contact details and your message, so we can reply (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f)).
Cars may have GPS to protect our property and calculate mileage. This is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)); we do not use location to track drivers outside the rental.
How long we keep data
Contracts and invoices for 10 years as required by accounting law. Form messages for 1 year. ID details only for the duration of the contract and any claims.
Who processes data with us
Fleetix booking system (Gaelta Agency s. r. o., Trnava, Slovakia) as processor, with data stored in the EU. Website hosting by Cloudflare. A payment gateway for card payments. Our accountant and insurer to the extent they need.
Where data is transferred outside the EU (Cloudflare), this is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
